Endometriosis symptoms quiz
Do I have endometriosis? A free 3-minute symptoms quiz
No quiz can diagnose endometriosis. This one shows how many of your symptoms match the pattern clinicians look for, so you can decide whether to ask for an evaluation. Twelve questions, no sign-up, and your answers stay in your browser.
Questions follow the symptom domains in the WHO fact sheet, NICE NG73 and ESHRE 2022. Medically reviewed by the PelviQuest clinical team (endometriosis and pelvic surgery specialists) on 2026-10-14. Updated 2026-10-11.
How this quiz works
- Twelve questions, each answered Yes, Sometimes or No.
- Symptoms that clinicians weigh more heavily, such as pain that limits daily life, chronic pelvic pain, deep pain with sex and difficulty conceiving, count double.
- Your answers are grouped into one of three symptom-match levels. There is no probability, score out of 100 or diagnosis.
- Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is stored or sent.
What your result means
Strong symptom match
Several of the symptoms that clinicians weigh most heavily are present. This does not mean you have endometriosis. It means an evaluation by a gynecologist familiar with the condition is reasonable to ask for.
Partial symptom match
Part of the pattern is present. Period pain that limits your life, or pelvic pain outside your period, is a reason to see a clinician on its own.
Low symptom match
Few of the common endometriosis symptoms are present in your answers. This does not rule out endometriosis. Pelvic pain of any kind deserves an explanation from a clinician.
What to do after the quiz
Whatever your result, write down when the pain happens, how strong it is and what it stops you doing, for two or three cycles. A symptom record is what a clinician needs to take the next step, and it is the quickest way to be taken seriously. Read how endometriosis is diagnosed and the endometriosis guide.
Common questions
- Can a quiz tell me if I have endometriosis?
- No. Endometriosis is confirmed by a clinician, usually from your history and a pelvic examination, sometimes with ultrasound or MRI, and in some cases with laparoscopy. A quiz can only show how closely your symptoms match the pattern clinicians look for.
- What happens to my answers?
- They are scored in your browser and are never stored on our servers or sent to us. Like every page on this site, we count page views and button clicks for analytics; your answers are not part of that.
- Who wrote these questions?
- The questions follow the symptom domains described in the WHO fact sheet, NICE guideline NG73 and the ESHRE 2022 guideline. They were reviewed by the PelviQuest clinical team (endometriosis and pelvic surgery specialists).
- Is this quiz the same as the PelviQuest app questionnaire?
- No. This free website quiz gives one of three symptom-match levels and stores nothing. The PelviQuest app's clinical questionnaire produces a screening score that your doctor reads in context. Neither is a diagnosis.
