Specialist endometriosis care in Nebraska

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha describes a program devoted to minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and lists surgery for endometriosis among its procedures, alongside hysterectomy, myomectomy and removal of pelvic masses. The program is tied to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the state's public medical school, so the same campus trains residents and treats complex cases. No Nebraska hospital appears on the AAGL's list of fellowship sites in complex benign gynecology.

Nearly everything else in Nebraska is a drive to Omaha. Lincoln is about 50 air miles away, which keeps the capital within easy reach. Scottsbluff in the Panhandle is about 400 air miles from Omaha but only about 160 from Denver, so for western Nebraska the nearer metro is in Colorado.

Nebraska adopted the Affordable Care Act's Medicaid expansion, according to KFF. The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services publishes a women's and men's health page.
